Insights into the research outputs of our SPIBES MSc graduates

From coastal lagoons in Benin to refugee settlements in Uganda, the SPIBES MSc programme has trained a new generation of African biodiversity and ecosystem services experts. This publication presents condensed summaries of graduate thesis research across 23 countries, exploring themes of land degradation, protected area governance, climate change, and community livelihoods. It is a testament to what science, rooted in place and shaped by policy, can look like.
